Template sections can be copied or sent via API to another application one by one or grouped under a single header by utilizing Corti's Section Grouping functionality in Corti Assistant's Template Assembler. In this article we will walk through how you can group any available section under a shared header.
Grouping Sections
Within Corti's Template Assembler tool, Template Sections can be renamed to allow you to manage what displays to the end user.
To group one or more sections, a simple naming convention must be used to allow Corti to know:
The name of the group header
Which sections to place under the header
Section Grouping Naming Convention
The section naming convention used to create and manage section groups is as follows:
Group Header Name (space) :: (space)
You can see a simple example of this naming convention shown below.
Important Note: The header naming convention will not appear within the section names. Only the value after :: (space) will be displayed.
Once saved, the template will now group all Template Sections utilizing the same prefixed naming convention under a single header, matching that which was used in the prefix.
In our example "Results" has been added as the prefix within the Section names, and appears as the header of a single container in which both the 'Diagnosis' and 'Diagnostic Results' Sections were placed.
Copying Grouped Sections
Users may then copy the full group at once using the 'Copy Group' button that appears when hovering your mouse pointer over the group.
Users may also still copy sections individually by hovering the mouse pointer over each individual Section within the group.
Grouping Sections requires accessing Corti's Template Assembler tool.
