Corti has taken the first steps to giving users more flexibility into the templates that they use by unlocking the ability to assemble a template using Corti's standard template sections, and override the section names to better help you identify your custom section.
Note: The Template Assembler is being rolled out progressively. If you don’t see it yet and would like access, please contact our team using the chat bot in the lower left corner of the page or sending a request to [email protected].

How to Create a Template Using the Template Assembler
1. Start a New Template
From the New document screen:
Select New template
Enter a Template Title
Choose the language
At this stage, the template starts empty.
2. Add Sections from the Section Library
Click Add section to open the section picker.
You’ll see a searchable list of Corti standard template sections, such as:
Actions
Allergies
Assessment
History and Physical
Nursing Note sections
And more
Each section includes a short description to help you choose the right one.
To add a section:
Click Add next to the section name
Repeat as needed
Click Done when finished
3. Customize Section Names (Optional)
Once sections are added, you can:
Rename them to match your workflow (for example, “Subjective,” “Objective,” “Assessment,” “Plan”)
Keep the underlying structure while using familiar labels
This is especially useful if your team follows specific documentation styles like SOAP.
4. Reorder Sections
Use the drag handle next to each section to reorder them.
This allows you to:
Match the natural flow of your clinical notes
Keep consistency across templates
Quickly adjust structure without rebuilding anything
5. Save Your Template
When your template is ready:
Click Save template
Your assembled template will now be available for use in the AI scribe
