This article outlines the minimum and recommended environment requirements for running the Corti Assistant. Since the Corti platform is web-based and cloud-hosted, no local installation is required. All processing happens securely on Corti’s infrastructure.
Operating System
Not applicable (OS-agnostic)
Because the Corti Assistant runs in the browser, it is compatible with:
Windows
macOS
Linux
ChromeOS
Other modern operating systems capable of running supported browsers
Screen Size & Resolution
To ensure an optimal experience, especially in environments where detailed information is presented (e.g., transcription, AI feedback), we recommend:
Minimum resolution: 1280 × 720 (HD)
Recommended resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) or higher
This ensures layouts render correctly and controls remain accessible.
Supported Browsers
Corti Assistant require a modern, standards-compliant browser:
Google Chrome: Latest two versions
Mozilla Firefox: Latest two versions
Microsoft Edge: Latest two versions (Chromium-based)
Safari: Latest two versions
Note:
JavaScript and cookies must be enabled.
Some browser extensions or strict security policies (e.g., ad blockers, script blockers) may interfere with functionality.
Internet Connection
A reliable internet connection ensures responsive performance.
Minimum bandwidth: 1 Mbps
Recommended bandwidth: 5 Mbps or higher, especially for environments with multiple users or concurrent sessions
Tip: In low-bandwidth or high-latency conditions, performance may degrade (e.g., delays in loading transcriptions or dashboards).
Memory (RAM)
Because Corti is browser-based, there are no formal RAM requirements. However, to support modern browsers and multitasking:
Recommended: At least 4 GB RAM
This helps maintain smooth performance when switching between applications.
Storage
No local installation is required.
All data is securely stored in the Corti cloud environment.
When an agreement ends or is terminated, personal data is securely deleted within 30 days.
Customers can request data deletion anytime via in-product features or by contacting Corti Support.
Security & Access
To maintain a secure environment:
Always access Corti via HTTPS.
Ensure corporate firewalls or network security policies allow access to corti.ai domains and subdomains.
Use strong passwords and two-factor authentication, where applicable.
Additional Considerations
Keep browsers up to date to benefit from the latest security patches and performance improvements.
Ensure IT teams are aware of these requirements if deploying at scale.
If your organization has custom security or proxy configurations, verify compatibility during onboarding.
