Here’s what’s new and improved in Mission Control. This release focuses on better user visibility and management, with new ways to observe team activity, quickly access user details, and more control within settings—along with a set of fixes to keep workflows running smoothly.
🆕🎉 Observer Role for Teams
You can now add users as Observers to a team in Mission Control.
Observers have visibility into team activity, similar to a Team Lead, but with an important distinction:
They can access and review calls associated with the team
They are not considered members of the team
Their own calls are not attributed to that team
This is especially useful for stakeholders who need visibility (e.g., QA, leadership, or cross-team reviewers) without impacting team-level metrics or reporting.
This is available in Org Settings > Teams
🆕 Global: User Details Hover
We’ve fully rolled out the User Details Component across the platform.
You can now hover over any user’s name to quickly view:
Full name
Extension
Associated team
This makes it much easier to understand who you're looking at without navigating away from your workflow.
🆕 Settings: View Deactivated Users
Deactivated users are now visible within the platform.
You can find them under:
Org Settings → Users → Deactivated
This provides better visibility into historical users and helps with auditing and troubleshooting.
🆕 Settings: Improved Permission Selector
We’ve improved how permissions are structured within user roles.
Permissions are now grouped by module
Easier to scan, understand, and assign
Available in:
Org Settings → User Roles
🛠️ Fixes & Improvements
Triage
Fixed issues with dropdowns that could cause bugs during triage workflows
Settings
Improved sorting behavior on the Users page
Ensured that when a user is deactivated, their extension is fully cleared
This prevents future calls from being incorrectly attributed to deactivated users.
If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to our Activations team. We’d love to hear from you!
