Corti Assistant is an artificial intelligence-based software tool designed to assist healthcare professionals by automating note-taking and supporting clinical documentation during patient interactions.
Corti Assistant is intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals to capture and draft clinical documentation during in-person or virtual consultations. The software records audio from these interactions and transcribes the conversation in near real-time using speech-to-text algorithms. It then applies natural language processing algorithms to identify and extract clinically relevant information (referred to as "facts") from the transcript.
Each extracted fact is linked to its corresponding location in the transcript and, by extension, to the original audio recording, providing traceable provenance. Users can review, modify, remove, or add facts at any point before, during, or after the consultation.
Based on the curated set of facts, users can generate a draft clinical document tailored to specific templates or formats. This document is intended as a preliminary draft and must be reviewed and finalized by the healthcare professional before inclusion in the patient record.
Corti Assistant employs machine learning models trained on historical recordings of healthcare consultations and associated clinical documentation. These models are continuously refined to improve the relevance and accuracy of extracted content.
