Corti Console - Distributor Naming Conventions

Updated over a week ago

As a distributor, you're juggling a lot of variables when working your vast network of resellers. We want to make reporting the easiest part of the journey for you!

Corti Console Project Organization

When working with the Corti Console, every Reseller that a Distributor works with will have a corresponding project. For Resellers, that means that you only see the information you need to, but have full access to invite users to Corti Assistant. For Distributors, that means you have visibility across your Reseller network while ensuring they still have the freedom to manage their day to day.

Console Naming Conventions

To make reporting easier for you, we recommend the following naming conventions:

  • Resellers Projects - For your Console_Project_ID we ask that you follow the naming convention of {distributor name}_{reseller name}

  • End Customer Names - For the Console_Customer_ID, we ask that you use a name for your customers that make it easy for your bookkeeping. Customers don't see this name within the Corti application

  • Reseller Demo Licenses - For the Console_Customer_ID, we ask that you create a reseller specific project within the Console to maintain your demo licenses with the naming convention of {distributor name}_nfr for distributor projects and {reseller name}_nfr for reseller projects.

Utilization Reports

With the above naming conventions, the reporting for distributors and resellers would look like the following:
